LoveGoBuy Wrong, Damaged or Missing Items: What to Do

If an item is wrong, damaged or missing, identify whether the issue appeared at the warehouse or after delivery. Use the steps below to preserve the relevant photos, packaging and order records, then report the specific discrepancy.

Applies to: LoveGoBuy agent orders and parcels; contact the destination seller for other purchases.

Match the problem to the right record

  • Wrong variant in warehouse: compare your paid order with QC images and the size or model label. Contact the agent before parcel submission.
  • Missing or damaged contents on delivery: record the outer box, shipping label, opening process and all contents. Keep the original packaging for a possible review.
  • Tracking stopped or marked abnormal: save the latest tracking event, carrier name and parcel number. Ask whether the parcel is awaiting customs information, a delivery attempt or an investigation.

These situations may have different deadlines and decision makers. Do not file a seller-size complaint as a lost-parcel claim, or discard a damaged box while waiting for a carrier response.

Problem found in warehouse QC

Compare the item’s warehouse photos against your paid order: model, selected size, color, quantity and visible condition. Save screenshots of the listing and order status, then describe the exact discrepancy to support. Do not submit the item into a parcel until the response is clear.

If a seller exchange or return is needed, check the return rules immediately. Waiting can change which options remain available.

Problem found after delivery

For a visibly damaged parcel, photograph the outer packaging and shipping label before opening. If possible, record its condition when receiving it. Keep the original box, packing material, item labels and invoice. Photograph the damage, missing pieces or wrong item from several angles.

Different problems need different proof: size-label photos for a size mismatch, full-item photos for a wrong style, and package contents or weight evidence for a shortage. Contact support promptly through the order or parcel record; do not rely on a generic deadline quoted elsewhere.

Build an evidence set that answers the likely question

For a size problem, photograph the item label and measure the relevant part of the item, then show the seller's size chart or selected option. For a wrong style, photograph the complete item and the listing or order showing the expected style. For a shortage, show the full contents and packing materials; parcel weight or packing records may also matter. For transit damage, record the exterior before opening and the damaged item inside.

Write a short timeline: when the warehouse received it, when the parcel shipped, when the carrier delivered it, and when you noticed the issue. This helps support identify whether the seller, warehouse or carrier needs to investigate. Avoid editing photos; add captions in your message instead.

When deciding which photos to preserve, use the discussion of useful QC angles and their limits. It helps distinguish a visible mismatch from a claim that photos alone cannot establish, such as material composition or long-term durability.

Send one clear case file

  • Order and parcel identifiers, delivery date and current status.
  • Listing or order screenshot showing what you selected.
  • Photos of packaging, label, item, defect and any missing contents.
  • A short requested outcome: clarification, return, replacement or compensation review.

Keep the case in the channel that handles your order. This directory cannot investigate a warehouse item or parcel.

What to do after opening a case

Keep the original package and do not repair, wear or dispose of the item until the responsible service says it is safe to do so. Record the case or ticket number and any deadline for sending more evidence. If support asks for a carrier report, obtain it through the carrier's official channel; if customs requests documents, use the customs guide to check the request.

State the result you are asking for—confirmation, replacement, return, insurance review or parcel investigation—but do not assume each remedy is available. The current order terms, tracking record, route and evidence determine what can be considered. For a parcel insured at submission, also review insurance and compensation.
